Job description

Burrow is seeking a detail- and action-oriented, entrepreneurial E-Commerce Product Manager to take ownership of the advancement and maintenance of the Burrow.com web application. As the E-commerce Product Manager, you will sit at the nexus of Marketing, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Physical Product / Merchandising. You’ll dedicate yourself to understanding the needs of the business and marrying them with the needs of the customer, satisfying both through digital development and innovation. This position reports to the SVP Marketing, works closely with the Chief Technology Officer and has a high level of exposure and accountability to the Burrow Executive Team…carrying a significant amount of responsibility. Responsibilities

  • Site Optimization and Merchandising
    • Identify and help remove friction points in the user path to browse/purchase by leveraging event data, heatmapping tools and site merchandising to improve the user experience
    • Improve engagement across the funnel through site merchandising and an always-on CRO Agenda, partnering with the CRO Manager
    • Ensure continuous content/information accuracy and freshness to create a best-in-class engaging, informative, and validating shopping experience for the user
    • Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) enhancements to continuously improve SERPs, ranking, site authority and Organic Traffic and Bookings’ contribution launches and promotion experiences
  • E-Commerce Performance Reporting
    • Develop and monitor site-, category- and product-level e-commerce reporting
    • Report on overall site health and develop strategies for continuous improvement
    • Maintain a Testing Agenda and Report and ensure line of sight for cross-functional partners on the hypotheses, testing plan, results and implications for scale
  • Cross-functional collaboration & execution
    • Develop, implement, test, and iterate on onsite merchandising systems and strategies
    • Partner with marketing to develop the optimal landing page experiences and improve the full funnel performance across key channels
    • Lead cross-functional teams to flawlessly execute Promotions and New Product Launches
    • Collaborate with Engineering and the Chief Technology Officer on sprint planning and product roadmap execution, prioritization and revisions
    • Collaborate with retail to accommodate and enhance a holistic, omnichannel shopping experience
  • Own relationships with onsite experience partners
    • Help develop strategy for onsite activations
    • Coordinate content delivery for integrations, such as modal, email capture, and product review experience providers
  • Influence development of new site features
    • Leverage learnings to inform customer-facing feature development, as well as the development of the CMS models behind them
    • Contribute to QA/QC of site updates and new feature rollouts, such as product

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience in eCommerce within a DTC organization
  • Significant experience designing experiments and making difficult data-driven decisions (A/B experimentation, user testing, data analysis, competitor and market analysis, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience with site roadmap planning and leadership
  • Experience with sprint planning and agile development
  • Experience with CRO and SEO
  • BS/BA or comparable work experience


Extra Credit

  • Experience in developing customer journey maps and building UX patterns from results
  • Experience with BigCommerce and GraphCMS or other headless CMS tools
  • Experience with highly-considered, large ticket purchases/categories

Pay range: $90K - $110K
The offered pay range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
